Job summary

CRT Care Services is looking for compassionate Care Assistants to join Waltham House Extra Care in Wirksworth, Matlock. You will support residents with personal care, daily living activities, and promote independence and wellbeing.

This part-time, permanent role includes paid training, a paid DBS check, and career development opportunities. Shifts include mornings, evenings, nights and weekends; prior care experience is not essential as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is helpful but not required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication where appropriate and in line with training.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with colleagues.
• Follow care plans and support residents in achieving their goals.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
