Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced Care Assistants to cover daytime shifts in Matlock. Join a friendly team caring for elderly residents, following detailed care plans and supporting daily living activities.

You will assist with moving, personal care, and housekeeping while recording information for senior staff and ensuring smooth shift handovers. DBS and training requirements apply, with online training available and sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
• Full up-to-date CV required.
• Reference confirming at least 6 months of experience in a Residential Care Home.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide a care‑centred approach.
• Support moving and handling and personal care as required.
• Record information accurately and feed back to seniors.
• Undertake general housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Collaborate with Carers and Nurses to ensure smooth day-to-day running of shifts.

Are you local to the Matlock area? Looking for weekly paid hours…..

We are currently seeking experienced Care Assistants within the Matlock area to cover daytime hours throughout the week.

You will be working as part of a dedicated and friendly team who are providing the very best level of care to elderly residents living with age related illnesses.

You will use your knowledge and experience to assist the residents with their activities of daily living providing a care centred approach round their detailed care package.

You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers and Nurses assisting them with the smooth day to day running of the shift. As of all aspects of care, you will be expected to attend to general housekeeping duties, personal care, moving and handling and you will also be required to record information accurately and feeding back to seniors as required.

To be suitable for this position you must have:

• An Enhanced DBS Certificate dated within the past 12 months or an older Enhanced DBS that is registered on the update service
• Up to date mandatory training certificates
• Full up-to-date CV
• A referenceable employment history with one reference referring to a minimum of 6 months of experience within a Residential Care Home.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

We are looking for Carers who can cover between 2-3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis.

You will be paid £13.50 per hour, with hours being paid weekly and holiday entitlement accrued on a F.T.E basis
