Job summary

Edenbridge Manor Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare Group, is seeking a Night Care Assistant to join its team in Tonbridge. The role centers on personal hygiene care that keeps residents independent and treated with dignity.

No prior experience is required as Avery provides induction and training; you must be flexible to cover a range of duties at short notice. A DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK are required.

• Recognise and understand clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and elevate them in a timely manner
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each resident's dignity and individuality
• Practise safe systems of work across the range of tasks
• Cover a range of responsibilities as needed and carry out reasonable instructions from other team members
