Amica Care is opening Greenlands Meadow care home and is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team and help create a safe, clean and welcoming dining experience for residents. The role focuses on food safety, infection prevention and supporting residents' dignity and wellbeing, with shifts including alternate weekends.
No formal experience is required; training, including food safety and infection prevention, will be provided.

We are now looking for a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team and help create a safe, clean and welcoming dining experience for our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new team from the very beginning, supporting the preparation and service of nutritious meals that make a real difference to residents' wellbeing every day.
The Kitchen Assistant plays an important role in maintaining food safety, infection prevention standards and supporting residents' dignity and wellbeing.
Various shifts available inclusive of the requirement to work alternate weekends.
You do not need formal experience to apply, but you should be willing to learn and complete the required training, including food safety and infection prevention. Previous experience in a kitchen, domestic or food preparation role would be helpful, but what matters most is a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to support residents with care and respect.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, can follow instructions and works well as part of a team. You will be organised, respectful and compassionate, with good communication skills and a professional approach to supporting a safe, welcoming dining experience for residents.
