At Keane, we believe in taking care of the people who care for others. Here's what we offer to support your wellbeing and development:

  • Early access to a portion of your earnings with Stream.
  • Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme, with 24/7 support through the Wisdom App, including health checks, wellbeing tools, legal advice and much more.
  • Up to six free confidential counselling sessions by telephone, online or face to face.
  • Bright Exchange discounts through the Wisdom App, giving access to exclusive offers across a wide range of products and services.
  • Blue Light Card discounts.
  • Free mortgage consultation with McCusker Mortgage Solutions.
  • Comprehensive induction, paid shadowing and ongoing training to support your confidence and success from day one.
  • 28 days' annual leave (pro rata).
  • Genuine opportunities for career progression and continued professional development.

Benefits are non-contractual and may be amended or withdrawn at any time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice and independence.
  • Support the people we support with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, nutrition, mobility and daily living activities.
  • Encourage the people we support to remain as independent as possible and participate in meaningful activities and engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with the people we support, their families and colleagues, providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of the people we support and promptly report any concerns or changes to an appropriate senior colleague.
  • Maintain accurate care records and complete required documentation, including food and fluid charts and other daily records.
  • Respond promptly to call systems and provide support in a caring and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Follow infection prevention and control, health and safety and safeguarding procedures at all times.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment throughout the service.
What We're Looking For
  • A caring, compassionate and respectful approach to supporting others.

  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Willingness to undertake training and continue developing your skills.
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Previous experience in care or an SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

This role requires PVG Scheme membership (or willingness to obtain), SSSC registration (or willingness to obtain) and satisfactory references in line with Safer Recruitment guidance.
