Job summary

Springcare is seeking caring colleagues to join our team in the community. You will assist residents with daily activities, provide compassionate care and support their wellbeing while respecting independence and privacy.

We offer permanent full- and part-time day or night contracts, with access to our pension scheme, training for nationally recognised qualifications, and a commitment to safeguarding and professional development. DBS checks and right-to-work in the UK are required.

Job description

Daily tasks that a carer at Springcare would carry out would include:

• helping with washing and dressing


• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes


• finding out and knowing residents interests and needs.


• general housekeeping such as tidying residents' private bedrooms and communal areas


• supporting each resident's physical and mental wellbeing through activities.


• compassion, sensitivity and understanding


• a desire to help people

• patience and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure


• to be thorough and pay attention to detail


• to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device

Our care team provide 24-hour care, where day care shifts are worked from 8am until 8pm, and night-time shifts are from 8pm until 8am.
