Care Assistant Night – 22 hours per week

LOCATION: Eaton Ct, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN34 4UD

The role of a Care Assistant is vital in supporting residents within Orchard homes. We ensure everyone is cared for with dignity, respect, and engagement in their support. You will play a key role in facilitating meaningful activities and providing support tailored to individual needs.

Main Duties

1. Enable residents to remain as independent as possible by providing support such as personal care (washing, dressing, oral care).
2. Be understanding and patient, encouraging participation in leisure activities suited to individual preferences, and supporting outside appointments and outings.
3. Assist with making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, and ensuring the home remains clean and welcoming.
4. Help serve meals and drinks, presenting food attractively and offering appropriate support during mealtimes.
5. Understand and comply with statutory and legal requirements, including Health & Safety, COSHH, Care Standards Act, and Infection Prevention and Control policies.
