Struan Lodge Care Home in Edinburgh is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to support residents with personalised care. This role is central to delivering high quality, person-centred care that protects dignity and independence while ensuring comfort for each resident.

You will assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, following care plans and recognising changes in residents’ conditions.

Struan Lodge Care Home is a purpose built 30 bed care home in the Balgreen area of Edinburgh, providing Nursing, Dementia and Palliative care. The home offers a quiet, homely setting with a close knit team, allowing staff to build meaningful relationships and deliver individualised, person centred care every day.

Night Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted 36 hours per week - Paid Beaks!
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
