Job summary

Qualifications

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and other people in the home.
• Be an efficient worker who can follow reasonable instructions from the team.
• Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents and contribute to the care team.
• Recognise and address clinical risk areas such as weight loss, wounds, falls and infections promptly.
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe systems of work across all tasks.
