Job summary

Prime Life is seeking caring and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team for maternity cover at Westerlands Care Village in Brough. You will support residents with daily activities, hygiene, meals and mobility while working regular shifts across a 7-day week.

Full training is provided and DBS is fully funded. We value patience, empathy and respectful, person-centered care to residents with age-related conditions, disabilities and dementia.

Qualifications

• Caring nature with genuine desire to support residents.
• Willingness to learn; full training provided.
• Ability to work 8am–8pm, 7 days a week across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and evening routines.
• Perform night welfare checks to ensure safety.
• Support meals and hydration for residents to maintain nutrition.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Engage with families and respond to enquiries.
