Job summary

Wixams Retirement Village, part of Extra Care Charitable Trust, is recruiting Care Assistants to provide domiciliary care to residents in a luxury retirement village. Multiple contracts are available with shifts including weekends. The role pays £14.33 per hour.

You will support residents with physical and personal care, assist with activities, and help maintain independence. A care certificate or willingness to undertake training is required, with a team‑oriented, compassionate approach.

• Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification.
• Personable, an effective communicator and a team player.
• Passionate about delivering a quality care service.
• Flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities.
• Promote and support the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents.
• Encourage independence and self-belief.
• Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
