Job summary

ExtraCare Charitable Trust’s Wixams Retirement Village in Bedford, MK42 6EA, is recruiting Relief Care Assistants on an ad-hoc basis to cover absence and holidays.

You will deliver all aspects of domiciliary care to residents, including personal care and social activity support, promoting wellbeing, encouraging independence, and ensuring accurate records. Benefits include annual leave, onsite gym access, ongoing training and development, and other standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a care certificate or willing to undertake a care qualification.
• Personable, an effective communicator and a team player.
• Passionate about delivering a quality care service.
• Flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of domiciliary care to our residents including both physical, personal care and support with social activities,
• Promoting and supporting the physical, emotional and well-being of our residents
• Encourage independence and self-belief
• Ensure records and documents are completed in line with our policy.
