Job summary

Highgate Care is seeking a Care Assistant for Manorhey Care Centre in Urmston, Greater Manchester. This part-time permanent role involves supporting residents with daily living, maintaining dignity, and promoting well-being in a compassionate team.

You will work under senior staff to monitor well-being, assist with care plans, and help residents engage in activities that enhance quality of life. Prior care experience is a bonus, with a warm and flexible approach valued.

Responsibilities

• Support Residents with daily living activities (washing, toileting, dressing).

• Assist Residents with mobility and use of aids.
• Monitor residents for confusion or behavioural changes.
• Assist in continence promotion and personal care.
• Support in social activities and meaningful engagement.
