Job summary

Cera Care is recruiting a Care Assistant for the South Tyneside area. This full-time role is based in the Community Care branch and involves direct care within the South Tyneside community.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication support, meal preparation, and domestic tasks, with a strong emphasis on companionship and making a positive impact on those you care for. Training is provided to develop core skills and confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care or caring roles is desirable.
• Compassion, patience and ability to support others.
• Willing to complete training provided by Cera.

• Assist with personal care such as washing and dressing.
• Support with medications and cooking hot meals.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to those you care for.
• Assist with domestic tasks as needed.
