Job summary

Holmes House in the United Kingdom is seeking compassionate care workers to support residents with dignity and independence. This hands-on role covers personal care, mobility support and engagement with residents through activities.

You'll work as part of a friendly team, receive free training and ongoing development, and contribute to a safe, respectful home where residents feel valued.

Qualifications

• Providing hands-on personal care to residents.
• Assisting with eating, drinking and continence care.
• Supporting residents with mobility and daily activities.
• Providing compassionate care to residents living with dementia.
• Building positive relationships and helping residents feel safe, respected and valued.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal hygiene, washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with eating and drinking, including encouraging and supporting residents with meals and fluids.
• Provide continence care and maintain residents' dignity and comfort.
• Support residents with mobility and everyday activities.
• Provide compassionate care to residents living with dementia and other health conditions.
• Build positive relationships with residents and encourage participation in activities.
• Work as part of a supportive team to ensure residents receive high-quality care.
