Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant in the UK to provide compassionate in-home support to clients. This role offers guaranteed hours, with a mix of evening and weekend shifts, and full training to ensure you thrive in the position.

You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, helping people live well and safely in their homes. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred, with paid mileage offered for travel between calls.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience needed. Full training provided.
• Friendly, compassionate approach and a genuine desire to help others.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Support mobility to help clients stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medications in line with care plans.
• Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal prep.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to prescription pickups.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes clients feel truly cared for.
