Job summary

Unique Senior Care is seeking a Caregiver to support a client with spinal injury in the Meon Vale area. You will provide hands-on personal care, companionship, and daily living support with a stable, client-centred approach.

Role offers 25–30 hours per week with set shifts; experience with spinal injury is desirable but not essential. Training is provided and care emphasizes compassion, reliability, and consistency.

Care Assistant

Pay: £14.60 Per Hour / Weekend Rate £15.00 / Bank Holiday Rate £29.20 Per Hour

Hours: Full-time & part-time available (contracted up to 30 hours)

Mileage paid at 35p per mile (HMRC reclaim option)

We are recruiting a Caregiver to support one of our lovely clients who lives in the Meon Vale area of Stratford‑upon‑Avon. This is a client‑specific role, offering stable hours, a consistent routine, and the chance to build a trusting, person‑centred relationship.

About the Role

You will be supporting a client who has a spinal injury and requires hands‑on assistance with daily living. Your role will include:

  • Supporting Personal Assistants with moving and handling related to personal care
  • Feeding support and help with breakfast routine
  • Encouraging physical therapy exercises
  • Providing warm, engaging companionship
  • Helping with day‑to‑day tasks such as feeding her much‑loved cat
  • Encouraging independence and supporting her environmentally friendly lifestyle and values

Experience with spinal injury is desirable but not essential; what matters most is confidence, empathy, and a genuinely person‑centred approach.

Hours & Shifts
  • 25–30 contracted hours per week
  • Set shift pattern through Monday to Sunday (every other weekend on)
  • Hours 7.15am to 11.15am, 2pm to 4pm, 8pm to 10pm
  • Stable, predictable rota
