We are seeking a care assistant for an 11-year-old boy. The role involves outdoor activities in the community, exploring open spaces, parks, and quiet areas. Driving is essential, as public transport can be overwhelming for him. Responsibilities include managing occasional intimate care needs, supervising during meal times, and supporting his independence.

Joe is severely autistic, non-verbal, with a global developmental delay, traits of ADHD, and a well-managed metabolic disorder. The ideal candidate should be time-efficient, reliable, and preferably experienced with severe autism. Physical fitness is important as Joe is very active. Hours are 5 per week on Sundays, with additional cover during holidays or sickness if available. Hours may increase during school holidays.
