Job summary

St Philips Care Group is seeking a Care Assistant for day and night bank shifts at Ravendale Hall Care Centre. The role supports residents with daily needs, following care plans and maintaining dignity and independence. Full training is provided, with opportunities to progress within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide compassionate care to residents.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
• Access or willingness to learn about care plans and daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support basic health requirements for residents.
• Assist residents with daily care tasks and personal hygiene.
• Participate in holistic care activities and promote independence.
• Read and act on care plans to ensure consistent care.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality and rights.
• Support safe moving and handling practices and report hazards.
• Attend mandatory training and staff development sessions.
