Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a Care Assistant for our luxury care and nursing home in Banstead. You will provide compassionate care, including assistance with washing, dressing, eating, and mobility, while helping residents feel at home and engaging them in activities.

No prior experience is required; strong communication and IT skills help. NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is advantageous while developing a rewarding career in a supportive, well‑being focused environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; care role suitable for newcomers.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Some IT skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and mobility.
• Help residents make their apartments feel like home.
• Engage residents in activities such as bingo, shopping and live music.
• Build strong relationships with residents and their families.
• Contribute to Care Plans and be aware of specialist support needs.
