Job summary

Alina Homecare are seeking a Care Assistant to support clients in Bridgwater and surrounding areas. No experience required as full training is provided; earn up to £15.25/hour with a £500 joining bonus and flexible guaranteed hours.

You’ll deliver compassionate care in clients’ homes to maintain independence, dignity and comfort, including companionship, personal care, medications reminders, meals and light housekeeping. Training through the Alina Homecare Academy ensures high standards.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Patience, compassion and a positive attitude at all times.
• A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to your work.
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship to help prevent loneliness.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support with medications and reminders for prescribed treatments.
• Help with mealtimes, meal preparation and healthy eating.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain a clean home environment.
• Support mobility and getting around clients' homes.
