Margaret House is an Extra Care facility providing support for independent living with a safe, caring environment. As a Care Assistant you’ll help residents with daily tasks and personal care, while offering companionship and comfort. This role includes shift patterns such as 7am-2pm or 2pm-10pm and occasional weekends.

Compensation is hourly with day and wake rates; DBS check and UK right-to-work are required. The role offers benefits and a clear pathway for progression within the care team.

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities may include personal care such as continence support, washing and dressing, managing medication, preparing meals, and carrying out light domestic tasks. Most importantly, you'll provide companionship, reassurance and comfort to the people you support.

Pay & Shift Details

Day rates: £12.50 on weekdays and £12.75 on weekends.

Wake rates: £13.21 for both weekdays and weekends.

Our team at Margaret House is looking for new care staff to work a variety of shift patterns, including alternate weekends and 7am-2pm or 2pm-10pm shifts.
