SDR is looking for a Female Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Stroud House in Petersfield.
This is a consistent Monday-to-Friday, 5pm–10pm role with a varied mix of kitchen and care duties.

About the role
From 5pm to 7pm, you will prepare and serve supper to residents. This may include preparing simple, light foods such as:
Crumpets
Soups
Other light supper options
You will help ensure residents enjoy their meals in a welcoming environment, while also supporting with general kitchen duties and keeping the area clean and organised.
From 7pm onwards, you will move into your care duties, supporting residents with their evening and night-time routines.
Supporting residents with personal care and getting ready for bed
Helping with evening routines
Supporting mobility and transfers where required
Ensuring residents are comfortable and settled for the night
Providing companionship and reassurance
Following individual care plans
Working as part of the wider care team to provide safe, high-quality care
About you
Previous care experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, compassion and willingness to learn.
You will ideally be:

Able to communicate well with residents and colleagues
Happy to support with both food preparation and care duties
