Right at Home Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford & Braintree is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our award-winning team. You will provide high-quality home care, supporting clients to live independently with dignity and respect.

We offer competitive rates (£14.20ph weekdays, £14.40ph weekends), fully paid travel time, mileage at 40p per mile, paid holiday, DBS, and extensive training with clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK or EU driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Availability required mornings from 7am, afternoons from 2pm, or evenings from 5pm, including every other weekend.
• Commitment to attending a 3-day training course.
• Live locally to Bishop's Stortford, Takeley, Dunmow and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Motivate clients to get the most out of their day.
• Provide personal care and support to clients.
• Administer medication as required.
• Assist with washing, dressing, shopping, housekeeping, meal prep and appointments.

Duties will include:

• Motivating Clients to get the most out of their day

• Personal care

• Administering medication

• Assisting Clients with washing and dressing

• Shopping

• Housekeeping

• Meal preparation

• Taking Clients for appointments or outings

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

• Must hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to own vehicle

• Be able to offer availability either early mornings (from 7am), afternoon (from 2pm) or evening (from 5pm) and every other weekend

• Commit to attending a 3-day training course

• Live locally to Bishop's Stortford, Takeley, Dunmow and surrounding areas

• Have or be willing to obtain business vehicle insurance

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdressers/beauticians, receptionist, administrator, cleaners, warehouse workers and delivery drivers.
