Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Home Care Assistant in Christchurch/Bournemouth to support clients with daily routines and personal care in their own homes. You will provide companionship, assist with shopping and meal prep, and help with medication as needed. A kind and patient demeanor, plus a willingness to learn, are essential.

No prior care experience is required; training will be provided, and you’ll join a team committed to high-quality home care across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting people with their daily routines, including household tasks and personal care
• Helping with shopping, preparing nutritious meals, and making a comforting cup of tea
• Providing companionship, a listening ear, and friendly conversation
• Helping with medication
  Above all, we're looking for someone kind, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about helping others. You don't need previous care experience or qualifications; if you have the right attitude and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.

You'll bring

• A warm, caring, and compassionate approach to supporting others
• Strong people skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships
• A supportive, professional, and team-focused mindset
• A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (please note we are currently unable to offer sponsorship)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Flexibility to work alternating weekends
