Job summary

In this post, you will update electronic care plans, work as a key worker for designated service users and may undertake moving and handling tasks. Applicants should have relevant care qualifications and be able to work a variety of day shifts.

Qualifications

• Patience, empathy and understanding of residents with dementia and disabilities.
• Ability to converse in English and provide clear communication.
• Flexibility and teamwork with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care including personal care and assistance at mealtimes.
• Promote residents' mental health and wellbeing through social activities.
• Record health and wellbeing updates using Nourish electronic care planning and inform team leaders.
• Undertake moving and handling duties and light food prep/cleaning to maintain infection control standards.
