Job summary

Aurem Care is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in maintaining dignity, independence and quality of life. You will provide personal care, emotional support, and build meaningful relationships within a friendly care team.

We offer day shifts, full or part-time positions, and shifts from 8:00am to 8:00pm. 22, 33 or 44 hours per week, with a range of benefits including a company pension and free DBS check.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.

• Supporting residents with their daily activities and individual needs.
• Maintaining accurate records using our electronic care planning system, Nourish.
• Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team.
• Demonstrating kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
• Undertaking additional duties as required to ensure the smooth delivery of care services.

About You

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are enthusiastic about providing outstanding care and support.
• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for others.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Are organised and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• Encourage and support residents to maintain their interests, hobbies, and social connections.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
