Job summary

Lovett Care Limited is seeking kind, caring Care Assistants to join our team in Wales. You will provide quality of care to residents according to care plans and support the smooth running of the care home.

We offer full-time contracts of 45 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.00, with shifts from 07:45 to 20:00 and alternate weekends. Role responsibilities include hands-on care, helping residents maintain a good quality of life, and contributing to records and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant in a care setting is preferable.
• Care Certificate or willingness to achieve this within 12 months of employment.
• Good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people.

Rhiwlas House Care Home is a purpose-built 66 bed care home facility located in the historic town of Flint, in the heart of North Wales. Designed to offer the very best in comfort, safety, and care, Rhiwlas House supports residents with a wide range of care needs, including residential and residential dementia care. We are seeking to appoint kind, caring and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality of care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans. You will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the Care Home. We have fulltimecontracts of 45 hours per week available with an hourly rate of £13.00! Shift times are 0745-2000, with alternate weekend working.

Role Responsibilities:

• To deliver "hands on" care to residents in a person centred way.
• Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
• Model best practice when delivering care.
• Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional and spiritual care needs in line with agreed care plans.
• Contribute to the daily records of residents.
• Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks delegated to you efficiently and effectively.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for or comes into contact with.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
• Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of
  employment
• Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the
  delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
• Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
