Job summary

A local recruitment agency is seeking experienced caregivers for a residential care home in Waingroves. You will provide high-quality personal care to elderly residents with age-related illnesses. Candidates should have a referenceable work history, in-date training certifications, and at least 3 months of paid care experience. The role offers £12.50 per hour with flexible shifts available from 06:45 to 14:30, making it an excellent opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.

Great Local Opportunities for experienced carers within the Ripley area!

You will be working in a beautiful, medium-sized residential care home within Ripley that cares for the needs of Elderly residents living with various age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing,
  • Supporting the residents with their mobility (inc. the use of moving and handling equipment)
  • Following individualised care plans
  • Conducting domestic duties as required
  • Promoting residents’ emotional and psychological wellbeing
  • Encouraging independence and meaningful daily engagement

  • Have referenceable work history
  • Hold in-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)*
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service*
  • Have a minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care setting.

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

This is an ongoing position for work

We have shifts available throughout the week, starting at 06:45 and working through until 14:30.

The rate of pay will be £12.50 per hour
