Job summary

Chelmsford Manor Care Home, part of Lovett Care Limited, is seeking kind, compassionate Care Assistants to join our team in Chelmsford. You will deliver quality of care to residents in line with care plans and support daily operations.

We offer full-time and part-time contracts with an hourly rate of £14.25, with shifts from 07:45 to 20:00 and alternate weekend work. Experience at care assistant level is preferred; a Care Certificate or willingness to obtain it within 12 months.

• Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment.
• Care Certificate or willingness to achieve within 12 months of employment.
• Evidence of good care practice for older people.
• Ability to work in a team and stay self-motivated.

We are seeking to appoint kind, caring and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality of care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans. You will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the Care Home. We have part time and full time contracts available with an hourly rate of £14.25! Shift times are 0745-2000 with alternate weekend working.

Role Responsibilities:

• To deliver “hands on” care to residents in aperson centredway.
• Support residents to enjoya good qualityof life.
• Model best practice when delivering care.
• Assistresidents in all aspects of their physical,emotionaland spiritual care needsin line with agreed care plans.
• Contribute to the daily records of residents.
• Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks delegated to youefficientlyand effectively.
• Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holderis responsible fororcomes into contact with.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable
• Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment
• Evidence ofgood carepractice knowledge relating to the care of older people
• Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a team
• Demonstrate self-motivation and confidence
