Job summary

Chelmsford Care Centre is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide compassionate support in a residential setting. You will assist with daily living tasks, monitor residents' wellbeing, and contribute to personalised care plans under supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emotional and practical support to service users
  • Assist with personal care, including hygiene, meals, and daily living tasks
  • Support individuals with medication in line with company policies
  • Monitor and record vital signs and maintain accurate care records
  • Promote independence and support individuals in making informed choices
  • Contribute to the development and review of care plans
  • Encourage participation in social and community activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
  • Follow health and safety procedures, including fire safety and risk assessments
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and external agencies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement
  • Support administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of the service
