• Experience in care is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Title: Care Assistant - Days

Salary*: £12.49ph plus incentives

Hours: Full Time: 7.30am-7.30pm, 3-4 shifts a week to include alternate weekends

Location: Brigg, DN20 8DL

Team Members under 21 will be paid at £1.00 per hour less, which is significantly above National Minimum Wage guidelines for this age group*

Orchard Court, is situated in the beautiful town of Brigg with high class facilities and beautiful landscaped gardens. With 52 bed facility, we take exceptional pride in working as a team to provide care that honours and values our residents.

Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Assistant:

• You will join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
• You will be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing
• You will complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits
• Ensure you are 100% current with all your mandatory training throughout the year
  
  

Essential Requirements for Care Assistant:

• A good reason or experience that has drawn them to care
• Minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
• Live within 20 minutes of the Home
  
  

Preferred Requirements for Care Assistant:

• One years' experience of working in a residential or nursing home.
• Level 3 Health & Social Care or above
