Job summary

Springcare Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking enthusiastic Care Assistants to join our team. We have 5 x 36 hours available, with day and night shifts supporting residents 24 hours a day in a caring, respectful environment.

You will help residents with daily tasks such as washing, dressing and meals, support their wellbeing, and participate in training and development with DBS checks provided.

Qualifications

• Compassion, sensitivity and understanding are essential.
• A desire to help people and provide support.
• Strong people skills and excellent communication.
• Patient and able to stay calm under pressure.
• Thorough and detail oriented in tasks.
• Able to use a computer or handheld device.

Responsibilities

• Washing and dressing residents.
• Assisting with feeding and mealtimes.
• Getting to know residents' interests and needs.
• General housekeeping in bedrooms and communal areas.
• Supporting physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
