Job summary

Springcare Ltd is seeking caring individuals to join our team as Care Assistants. You will provide 24‑hour care, with day shifts from 8am–8pm and night shifts 8pm–8am, helping residents with daily activities while maintaining dignity and respect.

The role emphasizes compassion, clear communication, and building meaningful relationships with residents. We offer funded training (levels 2–5), pension access, a Blue Light Card, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Compassion, empathy and understanding in caregiving.
• Desire to help people and support residents’ wellbeing.
• Strong communication and people skills for teamwork and resident interaction.
• Patient and able to stay calm, with good attention to detail.
• Ability to carry out basic computer/handheld tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with washing and dressing.
• Assist with feeding and mealtimes.
• Identify and understand residents' interests and needs.
• Tidy bedrooms and communal areas to maintain cleanliness.
• Support residents' physical and mental wellbeing through activities.
