Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group in Dunblane near Stirling is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our friendly team. You will provide professional care to residents, support daily living activities and help maintain high standards of dignity and comfort for all residents.

Permanent roles are available full-time, part-time or staff bank, with ongoing training, progression opportunities, and a supportive management team focused on resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year care experience in elderly settings (nursing home, hospital or community).
• SVQ 3 essential for Principal Carer level posts with team leadership experience.
• Experience with elderly people; knowledge of dementia and clinical support.
• Good time management and prioritisation of workload for self and team.
• Strong oral and written communication and ability to handle diverse situations.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of care within the nursing home.
• Uphold residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Adhere to SSSC Code of Conduct.
• Set a good example in dress, manner, hygiene and behaviour.
• Report injuries, diseases or dangerous practices to relevant personnel.
• Maintain accurately written records as required.
