Job summary

Nurse Seekers is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant for a Grade II listed Georgian care home in Fareham. You will provide person-centred care to residents, helping with daily routines and promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in a warm community setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Providing compassionate support tailored to each resident's individual needs.
• Helping residents maintain their dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
• Supporting residents with mobility and safe movement around the home.
• Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns.
• Following health and safety procedures and safeguarding policies.
• Contributing to a warm, welcoming, and family-oriented environment.
