Job summary

Darnford Rose Care Home is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join our friendly team in providing high-quality, person-centred care. You will help residents with personal care, companionship and daily activities, supporting independence and wellbeing.

We offer full-time roles at 38.5 hours per week, with options for days or nights and a competitive hourly rate of £12.85. Training, professional development and a supportive team are provided to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity and wellbeing.
• Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and mobility.
• Assist with eating, hydration and nutrition to maintain health.
• Build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Follow care plans and report changes in residents’ health or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate during handovers.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Create a warm, welcoming and homely environment for residents.
