Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm and dedicated Care Assistant for Mousehold View Care Home in Norwich. You will contribute to high standards of personal care and work within a supportive team dedicated to resident wellbeing.

No prior experience required as a thorough induction and training programme is provided to build confidence in your role. DBS disclosure and UK work eligibility are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Be an efficient worker and able to follow instructions from team members.
• Be adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Recognise and escalate clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections).
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, protecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe working practices across tasks.
