Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Assistant for Westwood Care Home in Sheringham. You will deliver high standards of personal care as part of a friendly, supportive team to ensure continuous quality for residents.

No previous experience is required as we provide a thorough induction and training programme, with a culture built on care, respect and accountability, valuing every colleague and resident.

Qualifications

• Experience is not required; a thorough induction and training programme is provided.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Able to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care as part of the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene while maintaining independence, dignity and respect.
• Recognise and respond to clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores and risk of falls.
• Show courtesy to residents and visitors, respecting dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe working practices across all tasks.
