Job summary

Barchester is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant in a full-time role to support residents in daily living, provide companionship and follow individual care plans. You'll help with meals, mobility, and personal care while ensuring dignity and respect in a warm, home-like environment.

You will join a team that values empathy, clear communication, and a can-do attitude, with comprehensive training provided. Shifts run 8am–8pm, offering a varied and rewarding workload that supports our residents to

• Experience caring for older people.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (toileting, bathing, dressing).
• Provide companionship and social interaction to support wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans and document care provided.
• Support meal times and hydration, ensuring dietary needs are met.

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve.
