As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with our client's care homes, you’ll deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across several care homes within the area. You will help residents get the most out of life. The role is varied and involves providing cover as needed. On a practical level, you will monitor care delivery when on duty, contribute to person-centred care planning for each resident, and record observations such as temperature and blood pressure, among other tasks. The role also involves providing support and companionship, ensuring residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time with carers during each shift.
A background in care, especially elderly care, is important. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care would be beneficial, along with a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. Ideally, you’ll have a GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths. You should be dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about supporting residents' wellbeing. Flexibility is key, and since you’ll be travelling across the area, you need your own car or access to public transport. Note that you will work full shifts at one home per day, not traveling from home to home on the day of your shift.
Along with competitive pay, we offer true flexibility and numerous learning and development opportunities. As a leading UK healthcare provider, we value the growth of our staff.
This is a Bank position providing cover for annual or sick leave, so hours and days will vary.
If you want to apply your care experience and people skills in an organization committed to quality care, this role is rewarding and fulfilling.
