Location: Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 8AA and surrounding area (YO41 1AJ, YO10 35J, and YO30 5PD)
As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with our client's care homes, you'll deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across several care homes within the area, helping residents get the most out of life. The role is varied and involves providing cover as needed, monitoring care delivery, contributing to person-centred care plans, and recording observations such as temperature and blood pressure. Providing support and companionship is vital, ensuring residents enjoy meaningful one-to-one time with carers during each shift.
A background in care, especially elderly care, is important. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care and a good understanding of the healthcare industry are advantageous. GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above are preferred. You should be dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about supporting residents' wellbeing. Flexibility is essential, as you will travel across the area; owning a car or having access to public transport is necessary. You will work full shifts in one home, not traveling from home to home on the same day.
Along with competitive pay, this role offers flexibility and numerous learning and development opportunities. We value growth and support our staff's professional development.
As this is a Bank position, hours and days vary, providing cover during periods of leave or sickness. If you wish to utilize your care experience and people skills in an organization committed to quality care, this role is highly rewarding.
