As a Bank Regional Care Assistant with our client's care homes, you’ll deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across several care homes within the area. You will help residents get the most out of life. This varied role involves providing cover as needed, monitoring care delivery, contributing to person-centred care plans, and recording observations such as temperature and blood pressure. Additionally, providing support and companionship to residents is vital, ensuring each resident enjoys meaningful one-to-one time with carers during every shift.
A background in care is important, with a good understanding of elderly care. A Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care would be beneficial, along with a good understanding of the wider healthcare industry. Ideally, you’ll have a C or above in GCSE English and Maths. You should be dedicated, compassionate, and passionate about supporting residents’ wellbeing. Flexibility is essential, and since you’ll be travelling across the area, you need your own car or access to public transport. You will not travel from home to home on the day of your shift; instead, shifts are in one home at a time.
Along with competitive pay, the role offers flexibility and numerous learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, we prioritize the growth of our staff.
This is a Bank position to provide cover for annual or sick leave, so hours and days will vary.
If you want to apply your care experience and people skills in an organization committed to quality care, this is a rewarding opportunity.
