Job summary

Bupa UK at Ardenlea Grove Care Home in Solihull is hiring a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care, support independence, and respect residents' choices. You will be part of a team delivering high standards of care and upholding our Brave, Caring and Responsible values.

This bank contract offers hourly pay of £12.75–£13.75 depending on experience and qualifications, with benefits designed to support health and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Previous care home experience or a Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care and ensure to document and report any changes in accordance with the required legislation.
• Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory & legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
