This bank Care Assistant post sits within the care team at Alice Court Care Home, a home run by Avery Healthcare Group. The work centres on personal hygiene care delivered with dignity, and on spotting clinical risks such as falls, pressure sores and infection, then escalating them promptly. No prior experience is needed, as a full induction and training programme is provided. A DBS check and proof of right to work are required before starting.

What the job involves

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of care for residents
• Assist residents with personal hygiene care, promoting independence, dignity and respect
• Recognise clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls and signs of infection, and escalation them in a timely manner
• Act courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each individual's dignity
• Follow safe systems of work across the range of tasks
