Eclipse Homecare (part of the CCH Group) in Worcester is growing and recruiting Care Assistants to support service users in their own homes across Worcester and surrounding areas. We offer local work with guaranteed hours, a flexible mix of full-time and part-time shifts, and ongoing training to help you develop in health and social care.

We're currently recruiting Care Assistants across some of Worcestershire's most vibrant and diverse communities. Thanks to rapid expansion, we are actively hiring for:

Worcester Central - WR1, WR2, WR3, WR4, WR5 - a rapidly growing area, with a primary contracts with the local authority meaning guaranteed packages of care to delivered by our teams, with 10 plus new referrals a week

St Johns -another rapidly growing area, with a small close knit team looking to grow into a large close knit team. With another primary contract with the local authority, meaning we receive around 5 new referrals each week, ready to be delivered by our expert care professionals

Kidderminster - DY10, DY11, DY12, DY13 - Small, yet mighty, there has been a huge demand for our expert services. Yet another primary contract with the local authority, meaning we receive around 20 new referrals each week, ready to be delivered by our expert care professionals

• Malvern - With a primary contract with the local authority, new referrals come through rapidly each week

(We also have opportunities across Tenbury Wells & Bromyard!)

Local Work, Local ClientsWe aim to match our Care Professionals to clients within their local area wherever possible, helping you spend less time travelling and more time making a difference.

Our services operate 7 days a week. We are currently looking for staff to cover a variety of full-time and part-time shift patterns, including:

Earlies - 7am - 2pm

Tea & Bed - 4pm-10pm

Long Days:07am– 10pm(requiring availability for at least 5 days a week).

About the Roles & Specific Packages

You’ll play a vital role in supporting our service users to live independently, with dignity and confidence. Because we provide highly tailored, person-centred care, we are currently welcoming applications from both male and female care professionals to cover new referrals.

(Please note: Where specific client packages require a male or female carer for personal care, this is an occupational requirement exempt under the Equality Act 2010).

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Professional, you’ll provide essential care and support in the homes of our clients, following personalised care plans that put dignity and respect at the heart of everything you do.

You’ll help with:

Supporting with personal care– bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming with the utmost dignity

Assisting with medication– preparation and safe administration

Helping with mobility– using aids/equipment safely and supporting rehabilitation after hospital stays

Preparing meals/snacksand offering mealtime support

Carrying out light domestic duties– laundry, making beds, household tasks

Offering companionshipand building meaningful relationships

What Else You’ll Help With

Companionship– conversations, activities, outings

Social Inclusion– encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities

Promoting Independence– ensuring dignity and choice are at the forefront of your care

Mobility Assistance– transfers, walking support, use of aids

Health Monitoring– observing and reporting changes in condition

Emotional Support– empathy, reassurance, and a listening ear

Safety & Emergency Response– creating safe environments, acting quickly when needed

Collaboration– working closely with colleagues, professionals, and families

Qualifications

What You’ll Need (Besides a Cape and Superpowers!)
