Job summary

The client care home in Wokingham is seeking an experienced Care Assistant for a part-time day shift, with potential to move to full-time. You will provide person-centred care to elderly clients, promoting independence and respecting their wishes at all times.

Shifts run 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm with some weekend work. Sponsorship is not offered for this role. Competitive hourly rate and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in an elderly care home or in a domiciliary setting.
• The ability to work shifts, including some weekends.
• Drivers are preferred as public transport is less accessible at the weekends.

Our client is a well-established , small and friendly care home based in Wokingham. They pride themselves in providing high quality care and support in a homely environment and have earned an excellent reputation in the area.

They are currently looking for an experienced Care Assistant for a part-time day shift position, working approximately 24-30 hours per week. There is an opportunity for this post to expand to full-time.

As part of the role, you will provide person centred care and support to their elderly clients whilst promoting independence and respecting their wishes at all times.

Their shift patterns are 8am-2pm; 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm and you would be required to work some weekends.

Please note that they do not currently offer sponsorship for this role.
