Helping Hands is seeking a Care Assistant to support people in their homes, helping them live well and stay independent.

You don’t need previous care experience—full training is provided. Flexible shifts and paid mileage (35p per mile) help you fit work around your life while making a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to help customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
