Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant to support customers in their own homes across the Coventry area. No previous care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, and you’ll work to help clients stay independent and safe.

You’ll benefit from flexible shifts, paid mileage, and opportunities to progress with funded training and recognised qualifications. Join a values-driven team with ongoing support and development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
