Hartford Care is hiring a Day Care Assistant for Moorhill Care Home in Southampton. This part-time role covers 24 hours per week, including alternate weekend work. You will deliver high-quality, individualized care and support to residents, focusing on privacy, dignity and independence.

No previous care experience is required as full training is provided. We value flexibility, a caring attitude and a strong team spirit. DBS check and disclosure are part of the process.

Job description

Day Care Assistant

Part-time - 24 hours per week (includes alternate weekend working)

Location: Moorhill Care Home - Southampton, Hampshire (SO30 3AZ)

As a Care Assistant you will provide high quality individualized care and support for each resident, promoting and upholding our residents privacy, dignity and independence at all times.

Your role is to create a happy, caring and safe atmosphere; putting residents needs first, providing a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological support tailored to the individual. We respect differences and recognise our staff and residents will have different needs.

No previous experience is required for this role as we will provide full training, therefore if this is your first role in Care we will support you fully. We do require you to demonstrate a flexible, hard working and caring attitude, with a desire to work as part of a dedicated team and a right to work in the UK.
